The group aims to develop a “transport plan” for the village.
Dispersed growth out of Cambridge City requires strong connectivity with the Local Plan transport strategy.
Although well-served for travel by road, rail and bus, the railway station is not closely accessible to the whole village and the existing bus service is not sufficiently well-used.  Less car-based inter-village travel and new cycle routes will be researched and overflow commuter car parking on our residential roads will be addressed.
A possible transport hub linked to the station with City Deal funding  would have a major effect on the parish and the road network.
